Miguel Velasco Criado began to participate in dog sport trials in 1986. Since then, he has reached degree III with more than twenty dogs.
During his sporting career, he has specialized in breeds such as the Belgian Malinois, the German Shepherd, and the Rottweiler.
Among his most important achievements are:
Champion of the 1st Military Police Dog Championship, in El Pardo, 1987, with Indio, a German Shepherd.
Champion of the Spanish Rottweiler Club, in 1996, with Blitzkrieg.
Runner-up at the 12th Spanish Cup (Copa de España), in 2008, with Dixie, a Belgian Malinois.
Participation in the World Championship in Slovenia, in 2010.
He has served as the national team captain at World Championships.
He has been an official Judge since 1998, serving as one of the judges for the Spanish Cup on more than ten occasions, and has judged national championships such as the one in Portugal, as well as various national breed club championships.
Gold Badge of the R.S.C.E. in 2010, in recognition of his collaboration and dedication to the aims of the Royal Canine Society of Spain.
